PSG, led by Luís Enrique, have stepped up interest in Ferran Torres as they target a different attacking profile to Gonçalo Ramos, whose departure has been under consideration. According to Superdeporte, the Barcelona forward is among their preferred options and retains the coach’s backing. The Ramos situation has accelerated their search for that profile.
Even so, his future remains open. Barcelona have not agreed an exit, he has admirers elsewhere in Europe, and a stay at Camp Nou is not ruled out. What happens will hinge on Barcelona’s attacking plans in the coming weeks.
Enrique rates Torres’s tactical intelligence, versatility and work without the ball, traits that made him important for Spain. PSG want a mobile attacker who can lead the line or attack from either flank, a skill set Torres has shown across his career.
Barcelona are working to reinforce the forward line and have accelerated a move for Karim Adeyemi. Keeping the Spain international remains on the table. A decision is not expected immediately and, barring a late twist, is unlikely before the World Cup.
Torres is coming off arguably his most complete season for Barcelona. He scored 21 goals, 16 in LaLiga and three in the Champions League. He impressed in major games, from a decisive World Cup assist against Portugal to standout displays in the 2024-25 Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid and the Champions League quarter-final with Atlético Madrid.
