Luís Godinho, referee of the classic match between FC Porto and Sporting, which ended in a one-all draw, took to social media to share the surprise he found when he returned home after the big match of the 21st round. “Congratulations, Dad! You’re the best referee in the world! Kisses from Miguel and Mariana,” read the note his children wrote, which the referee shared with his followers.

Commenting on the post, the referee added: “After another match and a long journey, getting home almost at sunrise and being greeted with this little treat is the guarantee of support and unconditional love. Believe me, it makes everything worthwhile!” said Luís Godinho.
