Man Utd in talks to sign Andrey Santos

Manchester United are hoping to sign Andrey Santos in their bid to refresh in midfield.

The Red Devils have said farewell to Casemiro while Manuel Ugarte – who was tipped to leave the club – picked up a long-term injury at the 2026 World Cup.

With Éderson expected to arrive from Atalanta, the Red Devils are hoping to continue their revamp with the signing of Chelsea's Andrey Santos.

According to journalist Mike Keegan of Mail Sport, the two teams are in talks over the player who was not a regular starter for the Blues last season.

Chelsea are said to be seeking £50 million for the 22-year-old – a figure far lower than the price of other reported United targets this season like Elliot Anderson, Mateus Fernandes, and Sandro Tonali.

Last season, Andrey Santos made 27 Premier League appearances for Chelsea, scoring once.
