Benjamin Sesko is finally expected to earn a starting role when Manchester United entertain Crystal Palace at Old Trafford. The Premier League contest will kick off on Sunday at 14:00 UK time.
The Slovenian has been dropped to the bench following the appointment of Michael Carrick as interim coach in mid-January.

The 22-year-old remained upbeat, gracefully accepting the manager’s decision. But at the same time, the striker has been eager to climb his way back in the hierarchy, as evidenced by his absolutely decisive contributions off the bench.
Despite his limited playing time, Sesko has played a vital role in three of Man Utd’s last four outings, scoring an injury-time winner against Fulham, a last-gasp equaliser versus West Ham, and most recently, netting the solitary goal in the contest between Everton and MUFC.
The former RB Leipzig bomber has now been named the club’s Player of the Month for February, while his strike against West Ham was picked as the Goal of the Month.
Therefore, Sesko has surely done enough to force his way into Carrick’s starting lineup, but it remains to be seen who will make way for the young striker.
While Sesko placed the final touch on United’s winner at Hill Dickinson, Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo were superb in the buildup. Therefore, Carrick is unlikely to drop either summer signing, especially the Cameroonian, who has often been decisive.
This leaves Amad Diallo as the main candidate for the drop. The Ivorian has made the right-winger role his with some ‘unstoppable’ displays down the flank, but he had an underwhelming display on Monday, potentially affected by Ramadan fasting.

With the Atalanta youth product relegated to the bench, Mbeumo would return to his natural role on the right side, with Cunha on the left, and Bruno Fernandes operating between the two.
The rest of the lineup should remain intact, with Casemiro and Kobbie Mainoo combining in midfield. Leny Yoro should once again fill in for the injured Lisandro Martinez, playing alongside Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw and Diogo Dalot at the back.
Man Utd predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Lammens; Dalot, Yoro, Maguire, Shaw; Casemiro, Mainoo; Mbeumo, Fernandes, Cunha; Sesko
