Manchester United are set to sign French youth international Enzo Kana-Biyik according to reports from France.
Le Parisien is reporting that 18-year-old Kana-Biyik is set to leave Le Havre (the same club United signed Paul Pogba from) despite wishes from the team to extend his contract.
Kana-Biyik is a highly-rated young forward and is the son of former Cameroon international and Le Havre defender André Kana-Biyik while his older brother Jean Kana-Biyik also played for the club as well as stints with Rennes, Toulouse, and Metz.
What is significant about Kana-Biyik's transfer to United is that he may be one of the first players to be transferred between INEOS-owned clubs. The youngster is expected to sign for the Manchester club before then being sent on loan to Switzerland to play for FC Lausanne-Sport.
Kana-Biyik's loan move may be due to competition for places at home. Chido Obi is just 17 and is playing first team football while 18-year-old Gabriele Biancheri has earned plaudits for his performances in the youth system.
