Martin O’Neill was pleased to see his side progress to the next round of the Scottish Cup with a 2-0 victory over Auchinleck Talbot at Rugby Park.

The goals came courtesy of Johnny Kenny and Sebastian Tounekti and has set up a home draw against Dundee in the next round of the competition.

The Celtic manager spoke to Celtic TV after the game, and admitted that while the team were in control of the game, there was some wastefulness in front of goal.

But he praised the two goals that Celtic did score in order to progress in the competition.

Now attention for the Hoops turns to the Europa League and a tough away game in Italy against Bologna on Thursday night.
