Here are the City player ratings as Manchester City moved to the top of the Premier League ahead of Arsenal’s clash with Everton with a routine 3-nil win over West Ham. A brace from Erling Haaland and a first half goal from Tijjani Reijnders were enough for City to see off a struggling West Ham side.
The City player ratings reflect Manchester City’s performance which was good but there are still clear areas to improve in Manchester City’s game.
Gianluigi Donnarumma-7.5/10: Made several good saves in the second half to prevent West Ham from getting back into the game.
Matheus Nunes-9/10: I thought Nunes was Manchester City’s man-of-the-match. He was superb at right-back and stepped into midfield after Nico came off and played well.

Ruben Dias-7/10: Another typical Dias performance. Defended well and set the tone like the leader that he is.
Josko Gvardiol-7.5/10: I thought Gvardiol was Manchester City’s best defender today. He was good in possession and made a host of timely challenges.
Nico O’Reilly-7/10: Another good performance from Nico O’Reilly. He just does what he has to do well and that is crucial to Manchester City’s play.
Nico-7/10: Broke up the game well in midfield, especially in the first half. He was good in possession before he was taken off for a much-needed rest.
Bernardo Silva-7/10: Another workman like performance from Bernardo Silva. He does all of the work necessary to help the City machine tick. However, he did play his team into trouble at the beginning of the second half with a poor pass which showed an area of Manchester City’s play that needs to improve.
Tijjani Reijnders-7.5/10: I liked Reijnders game today. He scored a goal and got himself into good positions in midfield throughout the match.
Phil Foden-7/10: A good display from Foden but not a standout performance.
Rayan Cherki-7.5/10: Cherki wasn’t as dazzling as he has been in recent matches. But he created a host of chances in the first half and was a key component of Manchester City’s possession dominance. He also played a key role in Tijjani Reijnders goal.
Erling Haaland-8/10: It sounds ridiculous to say of a player who scored a brace and added an assist but Haaland could’ve done a lot more today. His finishing was just off and he could’ve scored 4 or 5 goals today. But his brace and assist were crucial to City’s win.
Abdukodir Khusanov-6/10: Slotted in at right-back to allow Nico to have a break with Matheus Nunes moving into midfield. Had very little to do after coming on.
Rico Lewis-6.5/10: Had some nice touches in a promising cameo display.
Savinho-7/10: Carried on his good form and was lively after coming on. It is a shame that he couldn’t put his chance away late in today’s match.
Divine Mukasa-6.5/10: It was a special moment for Mukasa to make his Premier League debut. He has some nice touches and should’ve had his first Premier League assist but Erling Haaland put the chance that Mukasa created wide. He looks right at home at the highest level.
