In a recent report, talkSPORT claimed that Manchester City are hoping to make a second offer for Nottingham Forest star Elliot Anderson after their first bid was rejected. It has been mentioned that the English talent favours a move to the Mancunian club this summer.

Anderson’s Solid Season In The Premier League

The 23-year-old proved his worth as a consistent performer at the heart of Nottingham’s midfield in the previous campaign. Anderson scored four times and earned five assists in 50 matches for the Premier League side last season in multiple competitions.

The English sensation is currently one of the most reliable central midfielders in the Premier League. Therefore, it is no surprise that Man City are being so persistent about recruiting him this off-season.

His current contract at the City Ground will expire in the summer of 2029, which could make it difficult for the Mancunian giants to sign him on the cheap this summer.
