Lastly, Romano reports that Bernardo Silva is fully focused on finishing this season strongly with City before deciding what the next move in his illustrious career will be.

It now seems like we are entering the final few months of the trophy-laden and illustrious City career of Bernardo Silva. The Portuguese international has given absolutely everything to Manchester City. He has always been available for selection for his team. He has also played in almost every role possible on the pitch for Pep Guardiola. If there was a player who embodies what it takes to drive standards and fulfill Pep Guardiola’s demands, it is Bernardo Silva. He continues to do this now as City captain. Bernardo is showing Manchester City’s new players what is demanded at the club. That is a testament to him as a player and a leader. Having said that, Manchester City face a tough task this summer replacing a player who is simply irreplaceable.

There is no way that City will find a like-for-like replacement for Bernardo Silva this summer. Absolutely no way. There isn’t another player in world football who understands Pep Guardiola’s demands so intimately. Also, no other player is capable of adding what Bernardo does to this City side.
