Manchester United have announced record revenues of £666.5 million for the 2024-25 financial year.
The Red Devils were without Champions League football last season and finished 15th in the Premier League – their lowest top-flight finish in 51 years.
But the club’s latest accounts reveal their revenue increased by 0.7 percent to £666.7m, surpassing their previous record of £662m in 2023-24.
United posted overall losses of £33m for the financial year, a significant improvement on the £131m over the same period in 2023-24.
The club remain compliant with the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules and UEFA’s Financial Fair Play Regulations, per BBC Sport.
Missing out on the income from the Champions League was offset by huge matchday and commercial revenues.
The start of the five-year sponsorship deal with Snapdragon helped them generate a record £333m, while stadium income increased to £160m.
United led European clubs in attendances in 2024-25, attracting 2.2 million spectators across all competitions. Old Trafford maintained an impressive 97 percent capacity during the season.
Wages of players and staff accounted for £313m, a decrease of over £50m year-on-year.
That was due to the lack of Champions League football and the redundancy programme implemented by co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
While United supporters will be happy with the club’s latest accounts, they are concerned with the team’s poor start to the new season.
Ruben Amorim’s side have registered only four points from four Premier League matches and are currently 14th in the standings.
