In a recent report, Fichajes stated that Manchester United are keeping a keen eye on Real Sociedad full-back Jon Aramburu next year. It has been mentioned that the Red Devils are eyeing a move to land the Venezuelan talent.
Aramburu had a solid campaign at the Spanish club as he put in a string of impressive displays in the final third. The 23-year-old registered one goal and earned one assist in 49 matches for Real Sociedad last season across all fronts.
The Venezuelan talent was a solid presence when defending inside his half and did well to make 102 tackles, 40 blocks, 30 interceptions and 98 clearances in La Liga. He was even tidy when distributing the ball after completing 78.4% of his attempted passes in the top tier of Spanish football (stats via fbref.com).
His current contract at the Spanish club will run out in the summer of 2030. Hence, Man United would have to make a convincing offer if they are serious about recruiting Aramburu next year.

Aramburu is a solid tackler of the ball and can read the danger well to secure possession back for his team inside his half. He doesn’t mind putting his foot through the ball when the opposition are on the front foot.
The Venezuelan talent is primarily a right-back but can also fill in as a left-back or as a right-sided wide player if asked to do so. However, there are some concerns over whether he can adapt to the physical side and high intensity of the Premier League if the Red Devils manage to get a deal done for him next year.
We can expect to enhance the quality of Man United head coach Ruben Amorim’s defence. He is good enough to challenge for a regular starting spot at Old Trafford in the coming years.
At 23, Aramburu has his best years ahead of him, which makes him a decent choice for the Mancunian club to consider this January or at the end of this campaign. With all things considered, Amorim would be wise to go all out to bring him on board next year.
