Manchester United have announced a record revenue figure of £666.5m for last year despite the club’s difficult performances on the pitch.

Ruben Amorim’s side finished 15th in the Premier League table in 2024/25, the club’s lowest league finish since last being relegated in 1974.

The Red Devils reached the final of the Europa League, losing to Tottenham Hotspur, and have announced record revenues despite the absence of Champions League football last season.

The start of a five-year shirt sponsorship deal with Snapdragon helped boost finances, with commercial revenue reaching a record £333.3m. Matchday revenue also reached a new record total, at £160.3m.

Chief executive Omar Berrada hopes the record revenues can help bring a more stable future on the pitch.

“To have generated record revenues during such a challenging year for the club demonstrates the resilience which is a hallmark of Manchester United,” Berrada said..

“As we settle into the 2025-26 season, we are working hard to improve the club in all areas.”

United confirmed the club remain compliant with both the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules and Uefa’s’s Financial Fair Play Regulations. Their overall loss of £33m was a huge drop on the £113.2m figure posted the previous year.
