Manchester United have confirmed the signing of Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers and are close to landing Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford.

But Ruben Amorim is desperate for further additions, with a striker, a midfielder, a defender, a wingback, and a goalkeeper also on the agenda.

And the only way to get these signings through the door is through player sales. Players who spent last season out on loan are expected to be the first to depart.

One among them is Jadon Sancho, who Chelsea have decided against signing permanently despite the Blues being obligated to buy him due to their league position.

Jadon Sancho’s future up in the air

The London side wanted the Englishman to take a paycut but he refused, while Enzo Maresca also had his doubts regarding his overall consistency.

All in all, the 25-year-old is all set to return to Old Trafford with the Stamford Bridge side paying INEOS a £5 million penalty.

As recently relayed by The Peoples Person, the United attacker was offered to West Ham United and now, Ghana Web have relayed that there was initial talk of a possible swap deal involving Mohammed Kudus and Jadon Sancho.

The Ghanaian was eager to move to Manchester but ultimately, the Hammers did not think the former Manchester City academy graduate would be a good fit for their system.

Mohammed Kudus and Jadon Sancho swap deal

Kudus has been a long-term target for United, especially when Erik ten Hag was in charge. But the 20-time English league champions decided to sign Antony instead.

Fair to say, that move did not work out. Mohammed Kudus has enjoyed a decent couple of seasons at the London Stadium but given his talents, the player is keen to move to a bigger club.

Last season he managed five goals and four assists while in his debut Premier League campaign, the 24-year-old netted 14 times while also registering nine assists.

He can also play all across the frontline, and his versatility could have been of great use to Ruben Amorim but now, a deal is unlikely to materialise.

Now, INEOS will have to scramble to try and secure an exit for Sancho, with Saudi Pro League sides reportedly interested.
