Emerson Palmieri has sustained a thigh injury and is set to miss this evening’s Champions League meeting with Liverpool.
The club said in a statement that medical examinations revealed a lesion in his left thigh and no return date has been set, with the length of his absence dependent on how the injury evolves in the coming days.

The Italian defender was hurt during Marseille’s final training session before the game.
He has been among OM’s most consistent summer signings, featuring in 15 Ligue 1 matches and five in the Champions League.
The tie is at the Stade Vélodrome.
