Manchester United will welcome Newcastle United at Old Trafford this Friday night as they look to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Red Devils suffered a tough 2-1 loss away at Aston Villa recently, so they would be eager to bounce back and secure a victory against the Magpies this weekend.
Ruben Amorim will set his side up in a 3-4-2-1 formation and is expected to make some tweaks to his first-team for this game. Lisandro Martinez and Casemiro could both play from the start of this contest as both Kobbie Mainoo and Bruno Fernandes are unlikely to recover in time for this game.
Senne Lammens will feature in between the sticks for Man United after conceding two goals in his last outing. Luke Shaw, Ayden Heaven and Leny Yoro could once again make up Amorim’s back three as they look to keep a solid shape on the defensive end of the field.
Tyrell Malacia will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench. However, Harry Maguire will miss this clash because of injury.

Lisandro Martinez and Casemiro will anchor the midfield for the Red Devils as they look to win the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park.
Patrick Dorgu will try to catch the eye on the left flank, while Diogo Dalot hopes to prove his worth on the other side as the right-winger. Both of them will get the license to go forward and join in on the attack when they can.
Matheus Nunes and Mason Mount will operate as the attacking midfielders as they hope to carry most of the creative burden for Man United up top.
Benjamin Sesko will lead the charge for the Red Devils up top. He would be eager to get his name on the scoresheet versus the Magpies in the final third.
Joshua Zirkzee will have to settle for a place on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if the Mancunian giants are in need of a goal by then.
However, Bryan Mbeumo will be sidelined for this game because of injury.
