The Premier League have confirmed the list of match officials to oversee proceedings between Manchester City and Tottenham this weekend.
Both sides will be entering into matchday two of English top-flight action off the back of convincing wins to begin their latest Premier League campaign, as City defeated Wolves away from home and Spurs dismissed of Burnley.
For Pep Guardiola’s side, it was a 0-4 win on the road to get the season underway with two goals from Erling Haaland as he continued his fine August record, complimented by Premier League debut strikes for both Tijjani Reijnders and Rayan Cherki.
As for Thomas Frank’s first Premier League match in charge of Tottenham, goals from Brennan Johnson and a brace from Richarlison ensured a comfortable afternoon’s work against the top-flight newcomers in Burnley.
Manchester City will be determined to get another win under their belt this weekend, and may be further buoyed by the need for revenge on the North London club after they succumbed to a 0-4 home defeat to Spurs in the same fixture last season.
An added dimension to this weekend’s match also sees Savinho at the centre of transfer conversations, with the Manchester City winger attracting serious interest from Daniel Levy and his colleagues at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
