Mike Maignan is set to extend his AC Milan contract until 2031.

According to L'Équipe, Milan accelerated talks in recent days and convinced France's first-choice goalkeeper to agree quickly, after all sides initially anticipated a later outcome.

The 30-year-old, who has 37 caps, is expected to sign a new deal to replace the agreement that was due to expire in June.

Maignan came through PSG's academy and joined Milan from Lille in summer 2021 for a fee estimated at €15 million.

He has made 187 appearances for the Rossoneri in all competitions.
