Milan President Paolo Scaroni says the Rossoneri and Inter will have ‘the best stadium’ in Europe: ‘Something that all the Milanese will be proud of.’
Milan President Scaroni is confident that the club’s new stadium, which is expected to be built by 2031, will be the “best in Europe.”
Earlier this week, Milan and Inter reached an agreement to buy the San Siro area, including the iconic Stadio Meazza, and the Milan City Council approved the deal on Wednesday.

“We have a target and we’ll achieve it: building the best stadium in Europe in Milan because the city deserves it,” Scaroni told Sky Sport via Calciomercato.com.
“We are committed to this very important work, on which we’ve been working for a long time, investing a lot of money. It will be a stadium for everyone, something that all the Milanese will be proud of.”
The new stadium must be built by 2031 to allow Milan to be one of the host cities at the 2032 Euros.

Reports in Italy claim that Inter and Milan have paid circa €197m to buy the San Siro area, but the entire project is worth over €1 billion to be shared between the two Milanese clubs.
The project for the new stadium will likely include the partial or entire demolition of the Stadio Meazza, but further updates regarding the new stadium will only be unveiled in the coming weeks.
