Real Madrid’s summer planning has entered a decisive phase, with Florentino Perez and Jose Mourinho working to assemble a balanced squad ahead of the new season.
While a few departures have already been completed, of Dani Carvajal, David Alaba and Dani Ceballos, the club believe more exits may be necessary before any additional signings are approved.
According to Defensa Central, Eduardo Camavinga has emerged as the player most likely to leave if Real Madrid receive a suitable offer.
The report claims the club views the French midfielder as the most realistic candidate to create space in an increasingly crowded midfield, although convincing him to move will be far from straightforward.
This is because the latest Real Madrid news suggests Camavinga has no intention of giving up on his place at the Santiago Bernabeu and remains committed to proving himself under Mourinho.
As preparations for the new campaign begin, Mourinho is expected to welcome one of the deepest midfields in European football.

Aurelien Tchouameni, Federico Valverde, Jude Bellingham, Arda Guler, Bernardo Silva and Camavinga all offer different qualities, while younger players such as Thiago Pitarch and Franco Mastantuono can also operate in central areas.
Brahim Diaz provides another creative option capable of dropping into midfield when required.
With so many players competing for similar roles, club officials believe the squad already has enough quality and depth without recruiting another midfielder this summer.
This explains why discussions have now focused on possible departures rather than new arrivals.
Even so, Camavinga’s response has been consistent. Rather than looking for a move elsewhere, the French international wants to earn his place through performances once pre-season gets underway.

Although Real Madrid are open to listening to offers, no decision has been taken regarding Camavinga’s future.
Interest from the Premier League could emerge during the coming weeks, but the midfielder’s priority remains unchanged.
Before making any decision about his career, he wants to understand exactly how Mourinho sees his role within the squad.
Hence, a meeting between the pair is expected once the midfielder reports back for pre-season.
That conversation is likely to provide greater clarity, with Camavinga hoping he can convince the new manager that he deserves regular opportunities despite the intense competition for places.
