A comeback that will do a world of good

Naples: Zambo Anguissa returns after four-month absence
After a lengthy spell on the sidelines, André-Frank Zambo Anguissa made his return to the pitch this Friday for Napoli in their 2-1 victory over Torino FC in Serie A. The much-anticipated appearance for the Cameroonian midfielder comes after he was kept out of action since November due to thigh and back injuries.
Zambo Anguissa is back! He came on at halftime, replacing Vergara, and immediately made his presence felt in Napoli's midfield. Despite four months without competitive football, the Cameroonian delivered a composed and reassuring performance.
During his half-hour on the pitch, Zambo Anguissa was active and precise in the heart of the action. His stats speak to a smooth reintegration into the Napoli squad: 42 touches, an 86% pass completion rate, and 12 successful passes out of 15 in the opposition half. Defensively, he recorded one tackle, one interception, and won two out of three ground duels. A valuable contribution that helped steer Napoli to victory in this tightly contested match.
This comeback is fantastic news for Napoli, who regain one of their midfield pillars just in time for the season's home stretch. It's also a boost for the Cameroon national team, where Zambo Anguissa remains a key figure.
