Napoli and Milan are both keeping tabs on Can Uzun, with reports in Germany reviving the Italian interest in the Eintracht Frankfurt talent.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb, the Turkey international, who featured at the World Cup under Vincenzo Montella, has caught the eye of the two Serie A sides with his performances.
The obstacle, as so often, is the fee. Frankfurt are reluctant to part with one of their brightest jewels, and have set an asking price of €45 million, a valuation underpinned by the competing interest the German club have fielded from the Premier League and Galatasaray.

The 20-year-old attacking midfielder is a coveted commodity, and in Turkey there is optimism that Galatasaray could yet win the race to bring him back to his homeland, despite both the price and the competition.
Uzun’s stock has risen on the back of a productive campaign.
Last season at Frankfurt he made 28 appearances across the Bundesliga, domestic cup and Champions League, contributing 10 goals and six assists.
On the international stage, he has eight caps for Turkey, scoring once in a pre-World Cup friendly against North Macedonia.
For Napoli and Milan, then, the interest is real but the path is far from straightforward, a €45m outlay for a player several clubs are pursuing represents a significant commitment, and one the Serie A pair will have to weigh against their other summer priorities.
