Neo Química Arena to host Universal Church event on Friday | OneFootball

Neo Química Arena will host the Família ao Pé da Cruz gathering on Friday, a Good Friday celebration organised by the Igreja Universal do Reino de Deus. It is another event on the stadium's 2026 calendar.

The Casa do Povo is one of eight venues across Brazil confirmed to stage the service this year. According to Meu Timao, the stadium held a preparatory meeting with bishops and pastors in February and welcomed the Vira Brasil Music Festival at New Year.

Organisers say gates open at 7:00, with meetings scheduled for 10:00 and 17:00. On Monday, gates open at 14:00. Each sector of the ground will have a designated access point, and Mercado Livre Arena Pacaembu will also host the event in São Paulo.

Universal says the focus is to encourage reflection on challenges within households and to emphasise faith in rebuilding family relationships.

The event means Corinthians cannot use Neo Química Arena for the women's match against Red Bull Bragantino, set for 21:00 on Friday. The club has completed lighting works at Fazendinha and received Federação Paulista de Futebol (FPF) approval to stage night games there again.
