West Ham are showing signs in the transfer window that a new era is set to get underway under Graham Potter.
The former Brighton boss has been longing to stamp his mark in east London since his arrival in January, with a high expectation that a squad overhaul would occur under the stewardship of Potter and his Head of Recruitment, Kyle Macaulay.
One key aspect that Potter wants to introduce is a far younger, dynamic and exciting style of football, something that West Ham fans can engage with and get behind.
Although it is still early days in the summer transfer window, the players West Ham are targeting showcase a shift in direction, with the vast majority of key targets in their early 20’s.
A task that is one many Hammers fans will know too well is the hunt for a new striker, a position West Ham have failed to deliver upon for longer than most can remember.
The latest and very strong link to a forward though heralds an exciting turn, with West Ham understood to be set to be make a serious move for Belgium forward Lucas Stassin, who at only 20 years old and with a high ceiling for progress, offers an exciting time and hopefully successful chapter in east London.
