Nicolas Jackson is drawing significant interest from Manchester United and Newcastle. Chelsea, open to letting the player go, could sell or loan him with an obligation to buy as early as the summer of 2025. Newcastle have reportedly taken a decisive step by entering direct club-to-club talks with Chelsea to sign the Senegalese striker.

Jackson's position at Stamford Bridge has become complicated following the recent arrivals of Joao Pedro and Liam Delap. The 2025/26 season is shaping up to be a challenging one for the Senegal international, as he is no longer Enzo Maresca’s first-choice striker for the London club. Ready to sell to the highest bidder, Chelsea value their frontman between €80 and €115 million, taking advantage of the fact that he still has eight years remaining on his contract.

Despite this hefty price tag, the Magpies are seriously considering Jackson as a top target to bolster their attacking options this summer. Their approach is explained by the uncertainty surrounding Alexander Isak’s future, with a potential departure forcing Newcastle to sign a new international-caliber center forward. At Manchester United, the board has narrowed their striker search to two main profiles: Benjamin Sesko from Leipzig and Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea. Having already signed Bryan Mbeumo, the Red Devils are still looking to strengthen their attacking line and see the Senegalese forward as a credible option to diversify their offensive arsenal.
