Michael Olise has long since become a key player at FC Bayern – and that is precisely what is attracting the attention of European rivals. The Frenchman has been repeatedly linked with a move, most recently to Real Madrid and Liverpool FC in particular. But the team at Säbener Straße are not impressed by this, and sporting director Max Eberl has now taken an unequivocal stance
In recent weeks, the Munich club had already clearly positioned itself and signalled that Olise is not for sale – even for astronomical sums. Even offers of up to 200 million euros are said to play no role internally – an attitude that is anything but self-evident in the international transfer business
In an interview with Sky, Eberl was once again asked about the future of the attacking star – and provided a clear answer: „No, relatively simple: no.“ The Bayern boss could hardly have formulated the club’s position more clearly
The 52-year-old also made it clear that the club is planning for the long term with Olise. „We have a long-term project. Michael feels very comfortable. And you can see that the team can be successful,“ explained Eberl. With this in mind, a transfer is currently not an issue at all: „If we play soccer like this, then there is no chance of anything else.“
Reports recently made the rounds that Real Madrid were prepared to pay up to 165 million euros for Olise in the summer

It is also interesting to look back at how the transfer came about. Eberl described how the first talks with Olise and his entourage had already been extremely positive. „The first conversation was super relaxed. We had a call with everyone involved and talked a lot about sporting matters,“ said the sporting director
When the player was finally open to a move to Munich, everything happened very quickly: „When we were told that Michael could imagine himself at Bayern, we sat down together and everything was very harmonious right from the start.“
This harmony apparently continues to this day – another reason why Bayern have no interest in letting their attacking star leave
Despite persistent rumors from England and Spain, the message from Munich remains clear: Michael Olise is a central building block for the future of FC Bayern – and a sale is out of the question.
