Leeds United have a fresh fitness concern after Noah Okafor missed Switzerland’s game in Norway with a knock on Tuesday.
Blick reports that the Leeds United man was sidelined with an injury as the Swiss played in Oslo on Tuesday evening. The development appeared to back up earlier suggestions he suffered an issue in the warm-up before last week’s friendly defeat to Germany.
Okafor will return to Thorp Arch in the coming days, and Daniel Farke will no doubt provide an update in his pre-West Ham press conference.
Farke would hope to have him available for Sunday’s FA Cup quarter-final, particularly as the 25-year-old has only just returned from a hamstring issue.
Okafor, who joined from AC Milan last summer, played 21 minutes in the 0-0 draw with Brentford after missing the previous four matches. So far this season he has 15 Premier League starts and 28 appearances, including four goals, in all competitions.
If he cannot feature against West Ham, Daniel James has returned to fitness as an option should Farke choose to use wingers at the London Stadium.
