Nottingham Forest favourite hails Oliver Glasner amid Evangelos Marinakis decision | OneFootball

Nottingham Forest would be getting a “unique”, top-class manager if Oliver Glasner arrives at the City Ground, according to Dean Henderson.

According to Nottingham Post, Reds owner Evangelos Marinakis is expected to appoint Glasner to replace Vitor Pereira. The Austrian is a free agent after just over two years at Crystal Palace, where he delivered the FA Cup, UEFA Conference League and FA Community Shield.

Speaking before May’s Conference League final, Henderson, a favourite at the City Ground during a loan from Manchester United four seasons ago before joining Palace, said: “I think the manager’s so good. He’ll take every opposition differently.”

“He’ll focus on their game plan to stop them and obviously hurt them the other way, which he’ll do with any team. So yes, it’s been quite unique.”

Henderson also described Glasner as “the best manager this club’s ever had” in light of his feats at Selhurst Park.
