England began their Under-21 Euro 2027 qualification campaign with a 2-0 win away to Kazakhstan.
Lee Carsley's side were always the better of the two teams in Pavlodar and took the lead in the 18th minute when Divin Mubama brought down a ball and laid it off for Arsenal's Ethan Nwaneri to finish.
Just a few minutes later it was 2-0. This time it was a corner delivery from the right that found Jobe Bellingham to head in from a yard in front of goal.
From that point, it was a comfortable evening for the reigning Under-21 champions who were able to see out a 2-0 lead.
England's next qualifying game will be in October when they take on Moldova in Chisinau before hosting Andorra at Pride Park.
