After Hansi Flick and Lamine Yamal, it is now the turn of Barcelona winger and one of the captains, Rpahinha, to bag an individual honour following an excellent season.

Indeed, the Brazilian winger has been named the La Liga Best Player of the Season for 2024/25 after playing a crucial role in the club’s league title triumph.

This comes after Hansi Flick was voted the Best La Liga Coach of the Season and Lamine Yamal won the Best U23 La Liga Player of the Season awards.

Raphinha stood out for Barcelona with his consistent performances, scoring 18 goals and providing nine assists across the league season.

The Brazilian international’s contributions proved decisive in key matches throughout the title race, eventually ensuring the trophy came home to Catalonia.

Apart from his numbers, Raphinha also stepped up as a leader for Barça this season, setting an example for the team through his work ethic and consistency.

In the final vote for Best Player of the Season, Raphinha prevailed over teammates Lamine Yamal, Pedri, and Robert Lewandowski, as well as Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Jr., and Jude Bellingham, Real Betis’s Isco, and Athletic Club’s Oihan Sancet.
