The Newcastle United boss is back!

A Newcastle United official statement (see below) on Thursday morning revealing the news.

The club stating that Eddie Howe has returned to work at the training ground, ahead of Saturday’s match against Ipswich Town.

Great to hear that the NUFC Head Coach has recovered from his stay in hospital due to pneumonia.

Jason Tindall has done a great job in his absence but no doubt that having Eddie Howe back to oversee things is a massive boost.

Most important of all great to hear he is fully recovered.

Newcastle United official statement – 24 April 2025:

‘Newcastle United are delighted to confirm that Eddie Howe has returned to his duties at the club’s Training Centre.

Eddie had recently been hospitalised with pneumonia and has now returned to work after a period of recovery.

We thank supporters for their warm wishes.’
