Real Madrid square off against Rayo Vallecano at the Santiago Bernabeu in a little over an hour, aiming to get back to winning ways after the midweek debacle against Benfica.
Ahead of kickoff against the Madrilenian outfit, manager Alvaro Arbeloa has announced the starting XI that will be taking the field at the Bernabeu.
There is one major change made to the team that took the field in Lisbon, with Eduardo Camavinga starting at left-back, ahead of Alvaro Carreras.
Meanwhile, the rest of the defence remains intact, with Federico Valverde at right-back and Raul Asencio and Dean Huijsen at centre-back. Thibaut Courtois continues in goal for Los Blancos.
Moving forward, Arda Guler and Aurelien Tchouameni continue in the middle of the park, with Jude Bellingham operating in a slightly more advanced role.
One of the major selection dilemmas for Arbeloa was the right flank, where Rodrygo and Brahim Diaz were pushing for starts. But the manager has decided to stick wtih Franco Mastantuono, despite his poor performance in Portugal.
Vinicius Jr. and Kylian Mbappe make up the rest of the attacking unit for the Spanish capital giants against Inigo Perez’s men.
