Oliver Glasner says he thinks Marc Guehi will remain at Crystal Palace until the end of the season, and he confirmed a serious hamstring injury for Daichi Kamada. The head coach spoke before Thursday's Europa Conference League meeting with KuPS.
According to The Standard, the Eagles captain saw a move to Liverpool collapse at the 11th hour in the summer window and is likely to leave when his contract expires next year. Liverpool, among others, continue to monitor the England defender.
Kamada sustained the problem in the 3-0 defeat by Manchester City and will be sidelined for eight to 10 weeks.
Right wing-back Daniel Munoz has undergone knee surgery. Glasner said injuries can occur amid a heavy schedule and explained Munoz’s issue was caused by his landing and body position, with everything overstretched under full weight.
Palace host KuPS at Selhurst Park on Thursday, then travel to Leeds at the weekend. Their Carabao Cup semi-final against Arsenal follows days later.
