Ousmane Dembélé tests fitness after right calf injury before PSG v Arsenal Champions League final

Ousmane Dembélé, the Ballon d'Or 2025, carried out solo running at Puskas Arena in Budapest on Friday ahead of the Champions League final between PSG and Arsenal.

According to L'Équipe, he told Friday's news conference he had not feared missing the final, that he had 10, 15 days to prepare and felt at 100%. He said the group were ready, they had prepared calmly, and they hoped the match would go well.

He had sustained a right calf issue in PSG's final league match, a 1-2 defeat at Paris FC on 17 May.

A few minutes after speaking, he felt the need to test himself again in training, completing further runs while team-mates worked on finishing drills.

There were no apparent issues and he then rejoined the session as normal.
