Pacius, Surridge lead Nashville SC over debutants Atletico Ottawa | OneFootball

HAMILTON, Canada – The 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup continued with Nashville SC earning a 2-nil victory over tournament debutants Atletico Ottawa in the first leg of their Round One series on Tuesday at Hamilton Stadium in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

Nashville SC opened the scoring in the 66’, as Woobens Pacius broke through Ottawa's defensive line in the box to send the ball to the center of the net.

The MLS side doubled its lead in the 90'+5’ through the feet of Sam Surridge, who received an assist from Cristian Espinoza to take a two-goal lead from the opening match of the series.

Alex Muyl was named the Superior Player of the Match for his performance. The Nashville SC midfielder had 51 touches, 30 passes, three tackles, three shots, two key passes, and an 80% passing accuracy.

The two sides will meet for the second leg next Tuesday at GEODIS Park in Nashville, Tennessee, USA. The winner on aggregate will advance to the Round of 16.
