ALAJUELA, Costa Rica – The Final Round of the 2026 Concacaf Women’s U-17 Qualifiers continued with Costa Rica winning 1-nil against Jamaica in Group C on Thursday at the Costa Rica Football Federation Field #2 in Alajuela, Costa Rica.

The only goal of the match came from Costa Rica’s game changer Lucia Paniagua in the 45’+5’, sending a left-footed long shot from the edge of the area to the center of the net.

Jamaica tried to pull one back to get their first win in the Final Round but were held scoreless in their second match of the campaign.

Group C wraps up play on Sunday, March 22. Jamaica will face Panama, while Costa Rica will go head-to-head against Mexico.
