It was a special day at the BPER Training Centre in Appiano Gentile, where Inter welcomed a surprise guest: Italian volleyball star Paola Egonu, who plays for Vero Volley and the national team, visited the Nerazzurri on Thursday morning.
With the Azzurre, Egonu captured a historic Olympic gold medal in Paris 2024 and followed it up with a World Championship title in Thailand this past September. A passionate Inter supporter, she had the chance to watch Cristian Chivu’s squad in training before receiving a personalised jersey from captain Lautaro Martínez as a gift.
