Late Drama in Italy as Paris Giants Edge Past Premier League Rivals

Paris Saint Germain claimed the Super cup crown on Wednesday night defeating Tottenham Hotspur 4 - 3 on penalties after tense 2 - 2 draw at Stadio Friuli in Italy.
Tottenham took the lead in the 39 minute when Micky van de Ven pounced on loose clearance firing into the top corner from close range. Cristian Romero doubled the advantage early in the 2nd half heading home from set piece in the 48 minute.
PSG pulled one back through Lee Kang in in the 85 minute with powerful strike from outside the box. Deep into stoppage time, Ousmane Dembele delivered pinpoint cross for Goncalo Ramos whose header made it 2 - 2 and forced penalties.
In the shootout PSG held their nerve converting four of their spot kicks to Tottenham’s three sealing memorable victory and adding another European trophy to their collection.
