Ramírez strikes as Nacional climb to 13th | OneFootball

Nacional beat Alverca 1-0 at the Estádio da Madeira to rise from 15th to 13th in Liga Portugal.

In the 67th minute, Jesús Andrés Ramírez swept into the top right from José Gomes' pass to decide the game.

Kaíque was busy before the interval, twice denying Nabil Touaizi from close range, and the goalkeeper saved again from the forward in the first minute of second half stoppage time. After the break, Matheus Mendes kept Alverca in it with sharp stops, including a fine tip over from Paulinho Boia's strike.

A midfield change tilted the momentum and the hosts created more. Filipe Soares soon delivered from a set piece, with Ramírez glancing a header just over (71.).
