Speaking just before kick-off, Roma head coach Claudio Ranieri weighed in on tonight’s pivotal league showdown between his side and Milan at San Siro.

Appearing on DAZN, Ranieri shared his thoughts on the Giallorossi’s chances and their season-long struggles to win away from home. Though, he first addressed one of his former players, Jeremy Menez—who was in-studio to preview the game between his two former clubs.

“Jeremy! What an exceptional player, especially when he had the motivation to play,” began Ranieri.

“As for tonight, it’s a tough match for both of us. Both teams want to win—we’ll have opportunities, and so will Milan. It will come down to who capitalizes on them.”

He continued, “Our poor away form? Winning against a big team always gives you something extra. We’re improving, but we have to keep working hard.”
