Real Madrid and Benfica are level at 1-1 at the Estadio Bernabéu as the second half begins in the Champions League 2025 tie.

Rafael Alexandre Fernandes Ferreira da Silva struck on 14 minutes to put Benfica ahead, only for Aurélien Tchouaméni to equalise on 16.

Before the interval, Vinícius Júnior was fouled on the left, then one minute of added time was signalled. Real Madrid forced a corner after Leandro Barreiro’s touch, and Federico Valverde saw a right-footed effort blocked. A low save to the left denied Richard Ríos from inside the box.

A goal by Arda Güler was then overturned after a VAR review just before the break. Slavko Vincic is the referee.
