Speaking to the press after Real Madrid’s elimination in the round of 16 of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, Alvaro Arbeloa delivered a message to Vinicius Jr.

Despite the debacle against Albacete (2-3) on Wednesday in the Copa del Rey, Alvaro Arbeloa found positives in Real Madrid’s otherwise disappointing performance. The Madrid coach praised the attitude of his forward, Vinicius Junior.

After everything Vinicius has been through and the tremendous effort he put in last week, including a long journey, he wanted to be here, play every minute, and showed his commitment to help the team, to carry them on his shoulders, to break through, never hide...
