Speaking to the press in recent hours, David Alaba has dismissed rumors about leaving Real Madrid.

Currently at Real Madrid, David Alaba is just one year away from the end of his contract. This summer, the player was the subject of transfer speculation. But the versatile Real Madrid defender insists he was never close to the exit door. "I've been in the football world long enough; rumors are part of the game," the Austrian international responded during his national team camp. "Fortunately, I don't dwell on these things for long. I often laugh about it because none of it is true, they're all lies," confided the former Bayern player.

However, David Alaba is not expected to extend his contract at Real Madrid.
