Real Madrid deny contact with Michael Olise and underline Bayern Munich ties | OneFootball

Real Madrid have issued a statement denying any approach for Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise, adding clarity during the World Cup.

The club said in a statement that it had not held any direct or indirect contact with Olise, his representatives or anyone in his camp.

The statement underlined Madrid’s excellent institutional relationship with Bayern Munich, citing a long history of mutual respect and collaboration, and lamented speculation it said was not grounded in reality.

It also set out that any potential interest in a player belonging to the other club should first be addressed between the two entities, in line with established principles of institutional loyalty.

The latest communiqué follows a run of daily announcements making public the signings of José Mourinho, Ibrahima Konaté, Marc Cucurella and Bernardo Silva during the tournament.

Earlier this week, Madrid also detailed a 150 million offer to Atlético for Julián Álvarez, which the club rejected.
