Late on Monday, reports emerged of a possible meeting at Valdebebas between Vinicius Jr.’s representative, Frederico Pena, and Real Madrid’s sporting management.
The alleged meeting came just after what happened on Saturday against Espanyol, when the Brazilian made an angry gesture after being substituted.
It was also claimed that the meeting coincided with Vinicius’ training session ahead of tonight’s match against Levante.
However, as reported by Mundo Deportivo, Real Madrid categorically deny that such a face-to-face meeting took place between Vinicius’ agent and the sporting management of the club.
They argue that Pena’s presence in Valdebebas is routine, every two or three weeks, especially as Vinicius is not the only Real Madrid player he represents.
Moreover, they maintain that there is nothing new regarding Vinicius’ situation compared to previous weeks, particularly concerning his future contract.
It is not an issue currently on the club’s agenda, mainly because there is still time to continue discussions about his renewal, given that his contract does not expire until June 2027.

This position contrasts with reports that the meeting did indeed occur, and that Vinicius’ representative met for more than two hours with the club’s general director, Jose Angel Sanchez, and Juni Calafat.
It is worth remembering that the Brazilian has not yet completed a single match this season under Xabi Alonso. Either he has started and been substituted before the ninety minutes, or he has come off the bench.
Vinicius’ current deal is worth around €15 million net per season. His initial proposal was to earn the same as Kylian Mbappe.
The former PSG forward receives €15 million through his contract, but also has a signing bonus agreed with the club after joining as a free agent in June last year.
The bonus totals €40 million net over five seasons, equating to around €8 million per season for the new No. 10. Adding both, Mbappe’s deal amounts to €23 million per year.
