According to transfer market specialist Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid are planning to bring back the former academy midfielder, Nico Paz, viewing him as a key part of their long-term project.
In fact, their optimism stretches to the extent that they see the Argentine as their first summer signing.
It must be noted that despite being a Como player, Real Madrid hold full control over the player’s future, with a €9 million buy-back clause active in 2026, rising to €10 million in 2027, alongside a 50% sell-on clause and matching rights.
The Argentine has been developing at Como since 2024, and his progress has not gone unnoticed.
This season, he has delivered 11 goals, establishing himself as one of the most exciting young attackers in his role.
As expected, his performances have started to attract attention from across Serie A, with multiple clubs monitoring his situation closely.
Como, on their part, are not giving up without a fight as well.
The club is fully aware of his importance and is trying to convince him to continue his development in Italy.

Their confidence has even been expressed by sporting director Carlalberto Ludi, who believes the environment at the club could still persuade Nico to stay.
“Nico Paz is happy here; the possibility of competing in European competitions might convince him to stay.
“There’s a chance he’ll stay, as this is an ideal environment for young players: welcoming, ambitious, and focused on development,” he said.
Despite Como’s optimism, Real Madrid appear to have made the decision.
The club see Nico as part of the next phase of their squad evolution and bringing him back for €9 million would be a low-risk move.
In two years at Como, Nico has gained senior experience, improved his output, and shown he can influence games consistently.
Now, the club appears ready to reintegrate him into a squad that is full of top talents.
