Real Madrid fans take aim at Lamine Yamal after Ballon d’Or snub | OneFootball

Real Madrid’s supporters have taken to social media in their droves on Monday, to poke fun at Barcelona star Lamine Yamal.

This comes after the youngster missed out on the Ballon d’Or award.

The Ballon d’Or ceremony of course took place in France’s capital of Paris a short time ago.

After a long night featuring a whole host of high-profile accolades, in the end, the Ballon d’Or came down to just two players – Lamine Yamal, and Ousmane Dembélé.

A host of reports over the course of the day had pointed towards the former emerging as the frontrunner, sparking widespread excitement across the Barcelona fanbase.

In the end, though, the award went the way of former Blaugrana wide-man Dembélé.

And as alluded to above, quick to make clear their delight with as much were those of a Real Madrid persuasion.

After Barca’s supporters embarked on a ruthless campaign against Vinícius Jr. following his 2nd-placed finish in 2024, Los Blancos’ fans responded with widespread posts against Lamine on Monday night:
