Real Madrid handed timely injury boost before Villarreal | OneFootball

La Liga giants Real Madrid have been afforded a timely boost on the personnel front on Thursday.

This comes amid confirmation that Éder Militão has returned to training alongside the rest of Xabi Alonso’s squad.

Defender Militão for his part set alarm bells sounding in Spain’s capital last weekend.

As much came after the Brazilian failed to emerge for the 2nd-half of Real Madrid’s derby day drubbing at the hands of Diego Simeone’s Atlético.

Militão also went on to miss his side’s Champions League victory over Kairat on Tuesday night as a result.

With the former Porto man of course not long back from a 2nd ACL tear, these developments gave rise to understandable concern amongst those of a Real Madrid persuasion.

As alluded to above, though, on Thursday, such supporters have seen their fears firmly quelled.

As per a report from journalist Carlos Rodríguez:

‘Militão trained normally this morning and is ready to play against Villarreal.’
