Como midfielder Nico Paz is keen on a transfer to Inter Milan this summer, but there are still two major obstacles to a move.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInter1908. They note that both Como and Real Madrid could prove difficult to convince.

By now, it is certainly no secret that Inter Milan are keen to sign Nico Paz.

The young Argentine has been in truly outstanding form this season since joining Como from Real Madrid last summer.

Paz has been a driving force as Como have looked to establish a foothold for themselves in the Serie A midtable.

And Inter see Paz as the ideal player for their future.

The 20-year-old’s instant impact in Serie A has fully convinced the Nerazzurri.

Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi sees Paz as the perfect player to build the future of his Inter around. The coach wants to use the creative Argentine as an attacking midfield hub.

And Inter owners Oaktree Capital would be thrilled to sign Paz. He would exemplify their vision of rejuvenating the Nerazzurri squad with quality young players.

Nico Paz Keen On Inter Milan Move – But Two Obstacles Remain

Inter Milan are certainly laying the groundwork for a move for Nico Paz.

One key front on which the Nerazzurri are working has been trying to convince the player himself on a move.

The charm offensive has been in full swing. Over the weekend, Inter Vice-President Javier Zanetti was spotted chatting with Paz’s father.

It doesn’t take too much speculation to guess the contents of the two men’s conversation.

According to the Corriere, Nico Paz is already keen on a move to Inter. The 20-year-old believes that the Nerazzurri would be the right next step for him.

But that certainly doesn’t mean that signing Paz will be straightforward for Inter.

Firstly, Como have no intention of losing Paz after just one season. They will not prove easy to negotiate with this summer.

Then there is the Real Madrid factor. Los Blancos have a buyback clause active this summer for €9 million. That buyback becomes €10 million and €11 million in subsequent summers.

On the other hand, Como are ready to offer Real Madrid as much as €25 million to nullify that clause.

All of this makes the situation a complicated one for Inter.

However, the Nerazzurri are prepared to make a full-on transfer assault to try and make a deal for Paz materialize this summer. And with the player’s green light in their back pockets, they believe they can do it.,
