Despite being one of the least-used players under Xabi Alonso, Dani Ceballos has decided he will not leave Real Madrid in January.
According to Defensa Central, the Spanish midfielder remains determined to fight for his place at the Santiago Bernabeu, even with limited playing time so far this season.
Ceballos has found himself in a secondary role, something he anticipated when the campaign began.
However, what has surprised many is how little he has featured in the most significant fixtures.
In the Clasico, he was brought on for just a single minute, seemingly to run down the clock, and against Liverpool at Anfield, Alonso did not even turn to him despite the team struggling for control in midfield.
Even so, the 29-year-old is not considering a move in the winter transfer window, despite recent rumours linking him to clubs such as Napoli.

Inside Real Madrid, the attitude of Ceballos continues to impress the coaching staff.
They see him as a player who fits the team dynamic perfectly and appreciate his discipline, professionalism, and willingness to contribute whenever called upon.
The club understand that he may reassess his future next summer, but they plan to fully respect his decision.
Should he choose to move on, it will be only for a fair transfer fee, with both parties parting on good terms.
Ceballos will also have to weigh his options carefully. He came close to joining Marseille last summer before changing his mind at the last minute.
If he enjoys a productive second half of the season, he might decide to honour his current contract, which runs until 2027, before seeking a new challenge elsewhere.
For now, his focus remains entirely on Madrid. With Aurelien Tchouameni sidelined for three weeks, Ceballos could finally get the opportunity he has been waiting for in midfield.
