Real Madrid have ruled out a move for Bayern Munich forward Michael Olise, according to The Athletic.

Madrid have made it clear that it is not feasible to sign the France international this summer.

Paris Saint-Germain have also ruled out the possibility of signing Olise, considering a move as a ‘nightmare‘.

Bayern have maintained that Olise is not for sale and are already planning to extend his current contract, which expires in 2029.

Madrid could reignite their interest in the former Crystal Palace forward next summer, particularly if he refuses to sign a new deal.

Endrick could benefit from Madrid not pursuing Olise

Endrick has struggled for regular game time since joining Madrid in 2024, featuring in just 40 games across all competitions for the Spanish giants.

The 20-year-old impressed on loan at Lyon last season, scoring eight goals and providing eight assists in 21 appearances.

Madrid’s decision not to pursue a move for Olise could benefit Endrick, with manager Jose Mourinho prepared to deploy him on the right wing.

The Brazilian is naturally a striker, but can equally play as a right winger. He has played 18 times on the right wing, registering seven goal involvements.

Endrick stands a better chance of breaking into the starting line-up as a right winger, with Kylian Mbappe poised to be the first-choice striker.

Arder Guler, Franco Mastantuono, Brahim Diaz, and Rodrygo, who is currently sidelined through injury, are other right-wing options for Mourinho.

The Portuguese manager is prepared to give every player the opportunity to impress in pre-season, although the club are looking to sell Eduardo Camavinga and Raul Asencio.
